Sally Warhaft is an anthropologist and the author of the bestselling Well May We Say: The Speeches That Made Australia. A former academic at La Trobe University, and former editor of The Monthly magazine, she is also a regular commentator on ABC radio.
Jeff Sparrow is the author of Killing: Misadventures in Violence, in which he attempts to understand the nature of deadly violence. He has also written Communism: A Love Story, and co-written Radical Melbourne: A Secret History and Radical Melbourne: The Enemy Within.
Brigid Delaney is a Reprieve member, journalist and author of This Restless Life, published by Melbourne University Press in 2009.
